Pipedrive is a CRM for sales teams, built around the sales pipeline. If you want an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to work with deals and contacts, the first question is: is there an MCP server for it?
In short
Yes. Pipedrive runs an official MCP server, available on all plans according to Pipedrive. It reads, creates and updates. Pipedrive lists no delete tools.
What Pipedrive offers itself
The MCP server. According to Pipedrive, it is available on all plans. According to the help article, it runs at https://mcp.pipedrive.ai/mcp. Sign-in uses your own Pipedrive account. The tool list covers fetching, searching, creating and updating deals, persons, organizations, activities, leads and more.
A REST API. The Pipedrive API uses API tokens or OAuth 2.0.
AI in the product and data location. According to Pipedrive, customer data is hosted in seven AWS regions, including Frankfurt and Dublin. Customers from the EU go to the EU region. For the AI assistant Nova, Pipedrive writes: third parties may not use customer data for training, and Pipedrive itself does not use it without the customer’s permission.
What the community offers
According to its README, WillDent/pipedrive-mcp-server only reads by default. Two write tools can be enabled explicitly. It signs in with an API token.
What this means for your company
- The official server changes data. Decide which teams use it with write access.
- Review roles and visibility in Pipedrive, because the assistant sees the same as the user.
- What reaches the AI assistant falls under its terms, no longer under Pipedrive’s.
