Germany, as the largest market in the DACH region, is a key focus for dectria. We currently support a large automotive supplier in building its data platform. Thanks to a shared language, time zone and modern collaboration tools, working across the border is straightforward. Through NetCero, an ESG platform in which dectria holds a stake, we also know EU-wide reporting duties such as the CSRD in practice.

How does collaboration across the border work?
Thanks to a shared language, time zone, and similar legal culture, collaboration between Austria and Germany is straightforward. We work fully digitally with tools like Jira, Slack, and GitHub — complemented by in-person meetings or video conferences.
Does dectria have German clients already?
Yes. We currently support a large German automotive supplier in building its data platform, using Python, Airflow and containerization. For confidentiality reasons, we do not name the client.
What about German data protection requirements (DSGVO)?
As an Austrian company, we are subject to the same EU GDPR (DSGVO) as German companies. Data protection is a given for us — our software solutions are designed with privacy by design. We host in German or European data centers on request and work GDPR-compliantly with established cloud providers like Azure and Cloudflare.
