App Development from Graz

One app. Two stores.

Mobile apps for iOS and Android from one codebase – for companies across Austria.

Discuss your project →

An app has to run on iPhones and on Android devices.

Two separate developments mean double the effort and features that are rarely ready at the same time.

So we usually develop with Flutter, from one codebase for both platforms. The app talks to your existing systems through interfaces.

Most features are built once and appear on both platforms.

Scope

What an app can do

Capture barcodes, QR codes and documents directly.

The right choice

App or web app?

A web app is enough if …

  • the application is needed only now and then.
  • a link or a QR code is enough as a way in.
  • all features run in the browser.
  • changes must reach everyone at once.
To web applications →

An app is worth it if …

  • the application is used every day and belongs on the home screen.
  • the app must be found in the stores.
  • Bluetooth, NFC or background functions are part of the workflow.
  • the app must also sync data in the background.

Approach

How your app gets into the stores

  1. 1

    Store accounts

The app appears under your name. We help you set up the accounts with Apple and Google.

  2. 2

    Test version

Before the release, your team tests the app on real devices.

  3. 3

    Review and release

We submit the app. Apple and Google review it before it appears in the stores.

  4. 4

    Updates

New versions of iOS and Android need adjustments. We ship updates and keep looking after the app.

From the idea to the first release, we work as on any product: start small, test early, go live fast. To product development →

FAQ

Questions about app development

Do I need an app, or is a web app enough?
A web app runs on most devices without installation and is often enough. An app is worth it if it is used every day, uses device features such as Bluetooth or NFC, syncs data in the background, or must be found in the stores. In the first conversation, we tell you openly what fits your case.
Flutter or native development?
We usually develop with Flutter, because one codebase covers iOS and Android. That saves effort, and new features usually appear on both platforms at about the same time. We have also used React Native. We decide on the technology based on your requirements.
What does developing an app cost?
That depends on the scope. We usually work with an agile fixed price: you receive a binding offer with clear work packages. A small first version keeps the budget free for further development.
How does the app get into the stores?
The app appears under your name in your accounts with Apple and Google. We submit it and accompany the review. Apple and Google usually review apps and updates before they are published.
Who looks after the app after the launch?
We do, if you wish. New versions of iOS and Android regularly need adjustments. On top of that come new features you need after the launch.
