SoftSync is a CRM for startups and small teams that connects leads, email, meetings and follow-up in one place. If you want an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to work with this data, the first question is: is there an MCP server for it?
In short
Yes. SoftSync runs an official MCP server, on every plan according to SoftSync. It reads and changes data, sends email and books meetings. We found no free plan. According to SoftSync there is a 14-day trial; the pricing page gives no length for it.
What SoftSync offers itself
The MCP server. According to SoftSync, it runs at https://api.softsync.ai/mcp/softsync. Claude and ChatGPT connect it as a connector, Claude Code and Codex through the command line. Sign-in uses OAuth, so no API key is needed. According to the README, the server covers records, emails, notes, calendar events, forms, email templates, reminders and workflows. The server can also merge records, move them to the bin and send email.
Rights. According to the help article, the assistant sees only what the user’s role allows. One account can grant access to several organizations. The OAuth metadata names only one scope, full. SoftSync advertises a read-only mode. The help article, however, describes control through the CRM role and the approvals in Claude or ChatGPT. We did not test the server with an account.
A REST API. The SoftSync API uses a personal API key in the x-api-key header. According to the README, there are no outbound webhooks.
AI in the product. The Assistant works directly in SoftSync, and Autopilot runs repeating processes. The Meeting Assistant is a desktop app for Mac and Windows. It records the microphone and system audio without a bot joining the call. According to the privacy policy, data is never used to train models, and according to the Assistant page SoftSync does not train on the workspace. The list of sub-processors names Langfuse for AI requests but no provider of AI models, and the Trust Centre page on the EU AI Act names none either. We found no statement on whether the training ban also applies to a model provider.
Data location and evidence. According to the privacy policy, SoftSync stores and processes CRM data in the EU, on Azure in Stockholm. The contract partner is SoftSync AI Inc., based in Delaware, and the terms of service fall under Delaware law. According to the terms of service, a data processing addendum is available on request where SoftSync acts as a processor. The privacy policy names Stockholm as the “primary processing region”. It says nothing about where the AI models run. The Trust Centre shows ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II as “Ready”. According to these pages, this describes alignment, not a certificate or an issued report.
What the community offers
We found no open-source MCP server for this product. The other GitHub hits for “SoftSync” are not MCP servers: two are front-end demos for this product, and the rest belong to projects with the same name. Elaichi and Truto offer SoftSync through their own hosted services. Your data then also passes through that provider. Neither page names softsync.ai. Their schema names (for example OAuthAuthorizeDto on Elaichi, RelatedRecordIdsDto on Truto) do appear in the SoftSync API documentation. According to the Truto page, Elaichi comes from the Truto team, so these are two products.
What this means for your company
- The server sends email and books meetings. Review which tools you approve in Claude or ChatGPT before you choose “Allow always”.
- Test the read-only mode yourself before you rely on it.
- Request the data processing addendum and ask where the AI models run. We found the location of the AI models nowhere in public.
- For the Meeting Assistant, decide how participants learn about the recording. No visible bot joins.
- What reaches the AI assistant falls under its terms, no longer under SoftSync’s.
